Transnational Organized Crime penetration has proceeded slowly but steadily not only in Asia where Myanmar and Afghanistan are the opium and heroin leaders but in Latin America it has managed to initiate phagocytosis of the institutional frameworks of Colombia, Mexico, Honduras, Guatemala, Nicaragua and Paraguay. Not to speak of the Caribbean where only Barbados seems to have escaped this scourge. But the United States and Europe are now focused in the fight against CoVid 19 with a sensible portion of their population playing Russian Roulette by resisting vaccination. Meanwhile in Peru the new government is coached by Evo Morales the former president of Bolivia who leads a coca production cartel in his country. Venezuela is a Rogue State which would make the founders of Port Royal blush. In Nicaragua Mr Ortega imprisons, exiles or plainly kills opponents resorting to the support of the drug traffickers to buy weapons. And all this goes on under the nose of the United States and Europe whose societies are slowly but surely being destroyed by Transnational Organized Crime. But we continue to focus on gender neutral education; subsidizing everything and everyone and clinging to the Industrial Era to the detriment of the digital economy. Should the West continue to be blind folded this century will end with guys like Al Capone presiding most Latin countries while governors and mayors will be gang leaders in training to become capos.
